Bart Ross Award

(Established in 2011)

Bart Ross combined knowledge, ingenuity, innovation and an unsurpassed work ethic to become our organizations standard bearer.


This award is presented by The Central Florida Track Official’s Association to honor the person who reflects Bart’s devotion to enhancing officiating in the sport of track and field through example and effort.

Will Booth Award

(Established in 2019)


Will Booth always approached situations in track and field with calmness due to his unmatched knowledge of the sport.


Coaches and athletes were left with a feeling that they had been treated fairly and the athlete was always the center of attention.


He was a trainer, educator and mentor to countless officials and his effervescent personality made him a joy to be around.


This award is presented by The Central Florida Track Official’s Association to honor the person who best reflects Will’s love of the sport and dedication to improving the working knowledge of officials.

The Lionel Bonck President’s Award

(Established in 2019)


This award was established to recognize members who go above and beyond the high standard CFTOA members are expected to demonstrate.


Lionel Bonck was a founding member of the the association and has been a driving force in the success and professional reputation of the CFTOA.


This award is presented by The Central Florida Track Official’s Association to honor the person who best reflects Lionel’s passion for being a professional.
